Given my financial situation, should I choose an investment advisory service? Why or why not?

Our service is designed for many types of investors.  However, our advisory services may not be appropriate for individuals who (i) do not have sufficient short-term savings to cover unexpected emergencies or (ii) have significant high-interest debt, such as credit card debt.  We encourage such individuals to consider investing only after they have built up sufficient short-term savings and paid off most or all high-interest debt.

Investing through our platform is appropriate for clients, who understand the risks associated with investing in securities and have enough savings to withstand fluctuations in asset prices without relying on their securities portfolio under Gainy advisory as the main source of financing urgent expenses.

Our investment approach is aimed at long-term investments based on thematic portfolios of stocks and cryptocurrencies. We discourage using our platform for short-term speculations or day-trading.

How will you choose investments to recommend to me?

Our firm provides clients with analysis and personalized selections of equity securities, exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”), and cryptocurrencies through our mobile application or web-based platform. Our firm utilizes a proprietary algorithm to (i) generate a selection of investments that match a client’s interests, and goals and (ii) provide clients with data and analysis concerning that selection.

Stocks and cryptocurrencies are grouped into optimized model portfolios (we refer to them as Thematic Trading Fractionals or TTFs) based on the industries, sectors, ESG, or other investment themes.  Using our platform, clients may choose to purchase fractional shares of securities comprising a TTF directly on their separately managed brokerage account opened with DriveWealth and managed by Gainy.

Once a client chose the model portfolios they want to follow, Gainy, given discretion over the client’s account, will automatically rebalance their portfolio to track the composition of the selected TTFs.

Help me understand how these fees and costs might affect my investments. If I give you $10,000 to invest, how much will go to fees and costs, and how much will be invested for me?

Our advisory service monthly fee is 0.08% on assets under management. For example, if a client invests $10 000 with Gainy, they will pay and annual fee of $96. Gainy’s Advisory Fee compensates Gainy for the entirety of its services, and we do not charge any extra fees. However, clients might be charged additional fees by third parties, e.g. brokers, custodial providers, and exchanges. In this case, these fees will be disclosed to clients.

For the accounts with less than $10 000 under management, we charge a flat fee of $100 a year.

As a financial professional, do you have a disciplinary history? For what type of conduct?

None of our financial professionals have a disciplinary history.
